On the 2nd of May this year, as you may know we marked the anniversary of the hugely popular service by offering FREE TRAVEL all day along the Llandudno to Cwm Penmachno route. On the day, passengers were given the opportunity to donate an amount of money to the local Children’s Charity. We would like to extend a massive thank you to all of you who chose to donate to the worthy cause.
It’s not every day you see this. Rowen, a village located off the B5106 between Conwy and Llanrwst who have been very vocal and very supportive throughout our takeover of the 19 service, have created and displayed a banner thanking us for saving their service, which celebrated its’ 1st birthday on the 2nd May since we took it over May 2016.
TODAY marks a special day for both everyone at Llew Jones Coaches, and everyone involved with making our first commercial service – the 19 service – a success since its’ new launch back in May 2016, so by way of thanks to you, and everyone in the local community for their support over the last 12 months, we are offering FREE travel on the number 19 service all day Tuesday next week between Llandudno and Cwm Penmachno.
Another day, another brand new vehicle to talk about here at Llew Jones Coaches, Llanrwst. This in response to the recent news that Market Harborough-based Arena had resurrected the profitable River Cruise Line brand, after the unfortunate news surrounding tour and holiday operator Diamond Holidays of South Africa.
We are proud to announce that Llew Jones Coaches have been commended by Margaret Everson (Director of Bus Users Cymru), on the compliance of our Conwy Valley services. A letter received only last week states that across all 6 services in Conwy, a consistent high standard in excess of 95% has been achieved by the company.
We at Llew Jones International, would like to extend a big thank you to customers of the recently-awarded 555 service from Bangor to London for their support during its’ first month. The new service (which starts in Bangor), is now serving stops along the North Wales coast through Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Rhyl and onto Liverpool for 11:50am, before continuing down to London Victoria via Birmingham and Milton Keynes.
Llew Jones International, are proud to announce the addition of one of two brand new Caetano Levante 2 (National Express-liveried) coaches, in response to the awarding of a major contract with National Express comprising of the 385, 544 and 090 services; two vehicles running daily spanning between Bangor in North Wales, and Southend-on-Sea, via London Victoria.
We (Llew Jones International) would like to extend our thanks to all those who turned up to support the Official launch of the new 19 bus service, running between Betws Y Coed and Llandudno (via Conwy, Rowen & Henryd). Particular thanks goes to Guto Bebb MP, who cut the ribbon to launch the service, Cllr Hillary Rogers-Jones & Cllr Goronwy Edwards.
O 3 Mai, 2016, bydd gwasanaethau bws ar lwybr 19 yn cael eu gweithredu gan Llew Jones Coaches. Mae dyfodol y llwybr masnachol hwn wedi bod yn ansicr, ond gall Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy gadarnhau bod Llew Jones Coaches wedi cofrestru i ddechrau rhedeg gwasanaeth masnachol yn ystod y dydd o 3 Mai.
