In support of the local community Llew Jones will be taking over the 1S service between Caernarfon, Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog as of Sunday 13th January 2019. We will also be taking over the 37 service between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Tanygrisiau which also runs on Sundays.
Llew Jones would like to thank you for all your support! Our Free Travel day 2018 was a great success with lots of people supporting Ty Gobaith by making donations on our 19 Service which runs between Llandudno and Cwm Penmachno.
We raised a total of £243.13 on the day.
Llew Jones Coaches are pleased to welcome two brand new Scania Executive Touring Coaches to our comprehensive Touring fleet – These will be used for a number of tours all over Europe over the coming years. The only problem is choosing the drivers to drive them!
It’s that time of year again, its our Birthday! On 1st May 2018 our 19 service running from Llandudno to Betws y Coed/Cwm Penmachno will be 2 years old. In celebration of this we have partnered with Ty Gobaith to offer a FREE travel day. There will be a donation box on each bus where you are able to donate to Ty Gobaith. Last year we raised around £300 and we hope to beat that this year so please show this special charity your support and top up their donation boxes!
Llew Jones are pleased to be announced winners of “The Most Improved Operator” award across the National Express network. Since starting the 375 service – Bangor, Gwynedd to Great Yarmouth route in November 2017 we have also achieved Gold operator standard. This considers vehicle safety and reliability as well as customer care and driver standards.
On Saturday the 8th of July, The Annual Vale of Clwyd Festival of real ale and cider will give people the opportunity to choose from a large selection, with over 50 different cask ales and ciders, many of them from the local microbreweries in North Wales, such as Heavy Industry, Buzzard Brewery and Cwrw lal. There will be something for everyone. Each of the 9 pubs will also be providing food and live music throughout the day and you can check out the details for each one by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
On the 2nd of May this year, as you may know we marked the anniversary of the hugely popular service by offering FREE TRAVEL all day along the Llandudno to Cwm Penmachno route. On the day, passengers were given the opportunity to donate an amount of money to the local Children’s Charity. We would like to extend a massive thank you to all of you who chose to donate to the worthy cause.
It’s not every day you see this. Rowen, a village located off the B5106 between Conwy and Llanrwst who have been very vocal and very supportive throughout our takeover of the 19 service, have created and displayed a banner thanking us for saving their service, which celebrated its’ 1st birthday on the 2nd May since we took it over May 2016.
